The Critical Thinking Ability by Using Confrontation Learning Process in Social and Community Development Course of Mathayomsuksa Students from Khao Chamao District Non-Formal and Informal Education Centre Rayong
The purposes of this research were
1) to study the critical thinking ability of the
students in Mathayomsuksa who were trained for critical thinking by using confrontation learning process and
2) to compare their critical thinking ability before and after being trained by using confrontation learning process. The sample was consisted of 25 students in Mathayomsuksa from Khao Chamao District Non-formal and Informal Education Centre in the second semester of the academic year 2008. The research instruments were lesson plans designed for using the critical thinking ability and the critical test. The statistical analysis employed were mean ( X ), standard deviation (S.D.), and t-test.
The results were revealed that the students were trained for critical thinking ability by using confrontation learning process had higher critical thinking ability, showing .01 level of statistical significance.
